Modeling and acting are both extremely competitive fields where careers are not guaranteed.

Anyone interested in choosing one of these fields to get into needs to know the realities before jumping in. Modeling begins at an early age and is never easy. There is simply too much competition out there for there to be enough work for everyone. Acting is just as competitive and just as frustrating.
