Acting Tips
Acting tips are advice on the craft of acting. As an actor, you want to be sure you are prepared before going into an audition. An actor needs to prepare at least 2 (two) monologues to show the range of your talent. If you do not know what to choose, then choose ones your are familiar with and passionate about. Be excited about your audition, but do not be nervous.
Prepare your monologues down to the last nuance. Know your pieces inside and out. Be prepared to be asked to do something you may not have prepared as well. Get your acting sides in advance and practice them. Get to know your character - the one you are trying out for. Take time creating that character as you best see fit. Always be open to suggestions from the casting director and do your best to match what he or she is asking for you to do with your performance.
Acting tips give advice about the general problems that most actors face. You can find acting tips on-line by using search engines. Another way to get acting tips is to talk to other, more experienced actors or get a reputable book on acting.
